What is GuitarHub?

GuitarHub is the Suede AI guitar lessons site: a step-by-step guitar curriculum, a practice method, the free Advanced Lab, and seven free browser tools that run the method. The method is one loop against one goal at a time, in four stages: baseline, isolate, reconnect, prove. Record where you actually are, isolate the single thing that breaks the result, reconnect that repair to a full performance under pressure, then record the same thing again and compare the two takes. Guitar education supplies plenty of lessons and little that tells you whether a lesson worked. GuitarHub is built for that gap. Voice lessons live on Suede Sing.

How can I use GuitarHub?

What are the tools, exactly?

The tools are the guitar tuner and metronome, the 30-day breakthrough planner, the practice plateau diagnostic, the practice session builder, the tempo ladder builder, the song readiness score, and the practice evidence log. Each one runs in the browser you are reading this in and needs no account. The planning tools keep what you enter in this browser, each with a button that clears it. The tuner and metronome share one page, so tuning up and practicing to a click take nothing else.

Is GuitarHub an AI product?

Not in the way that phrase is usually meant. There is no chatbot on this site, no generated commentary on your playing, and no model looking at anything you do. The tools follow written rules and return the same output for the same input, and the microphone exercises measure pitch and timing with fixed signal processing on your device. Strumly, a separate Suede AI product, is the AI guitar coach, and this site links out to it instead of embedding it.

Cost, accounts, and your data

The tools, guides, and Advanced Lab are free. The guided lessons run on $79 lifetime access from the iPhone app. Your practice data stays on your device unless you choose to sync it. Here is exactly how each part works.

Is GuitarHub free?

The practice tools, the 23-drill Advanced Lab, the written guides and their PDF field guides, the A-to-D chord practice routine, and the glossary are free, with no card and no sign-up. The guided guitar lessons open with lifetime access, $79 one time in the US App Store, bought in GuitarHub: Guitar Lessons for iPhone, and the first module is free in the app. Applying to the founding room is free.

How do I get lifetime lesson access?

Download GuitarHub: Guitar Lessons from the iPhone App Store, start the first module free, and choose lifetime access in the app: $79 one time in the US App Store, charged in local currency on other countries' App Stores. Apple handles the payment. One purchase covers the guitar course and the voice track in the app, and Restore Purchases brings it back on a new iPhone signed in to the same Apple account.

Do I need an account?

Not for the free parts. The tools, the Advanced Lab, the guides, and the chord routine open without signing in. Lifetime access belongs to the Apple account that bought it in the iPhone app. On the web, the account page signs an existing Suede account in with an emailed code to verify lifetime access and offer optional practice sync, and it shows whether web purchase verification is available. The founding-room application asks for your name and email once; it does not create an account.

Where is my data stored?

On your device. Plans, logs, lesson progress, drill results, and preferences are saved in this browser's local storage, so closing the tab keeps them and reopening the page brings them back. They stay on the device you used: a plan built on a laptop is not on your phone. If you sign in and explicitly turn on practice sync, new lesson attempts are also saved to your account; earlier records stay local. Clearing your browser data removes the local copy for good.

Does GuitarHub record or upload my playing?

GuitarHub never uploads audio. The tuner, the lesson exercises, and the Advanced Lab drills listen through your microphone only after you start them, and measure pitch and timing live on your device; the raw audio is not saved or sent anywhere. Saving a take is always your choice: the iPhone app keeps one optional take per lesson on your phone, and voice takes saved in this browser before the voice lessons moved to Suede Sing stay playable and deletable on the Saved voice takes page. For the method's baseline, record on your phone with any voice-memo app.

Does anything here train on my playing?

No. Nothing on this site trains a model on your playing. GuitarHub prescribes practice; it does not collect performances. Microphone audio is analyzed on your device and never sent. The tools send nothing to a server. The founding-room application sends the four fields you typed into it, and optional practice sync, if you turn it on, sends lesson-attempt results such as scores and tempos, never audio.

Is there tracking or analytics on this site?

GuitarHub runs no analytics script and no third-party tracker. Check it yourself: open the page source or your browser's network panel and see what loads. Vercel, which hosts the site, processes ordinary connection logs to deliver and protect it.

Who is GuitarHub for?

Every level, with a different starting point. New players start the guided guitar course at the first foundations. Players past the first few months who are no longer getting obvious returns from practice, including advanced beginners, intermediates, and people coming back after a long gap, get the most from the method and the planner, which labels the plan with where you are starting from and builds the four weeks from the goal you pick. Experienced players go straight to the Advanced Lab.

Where should a beginner start?

Start with the guitar path for foundations: holding the instrument, tuning, and playing a clean note. Once you have a passage to work on, use the practice method to set a goal, record a baseline, and compare your progress.

How much time does this take?

The planner asks how many days a week you practice and how many minutes you get per session, and labels your plan with that cadence. It accepts three to six days and sessions of 15 to 60 minutes, and it builds the same four-week sequence at any of those settings. The one thing the method insists on is that each week end with something recorded, which costs about as long as one take.

What is the founding room?

Applications are open and reviewed personally. The intent is a small room of 8 to 12 players assembled around one rule: every check-in has to change the next practice. Members would be matched by goal and by a schedule that actually works, corrections would stay private, and progress proof would be shared only when a player chooses to share it. We will share the confirmed schedule, review capacity, and price before asking you to commit.

What happens after I apply?

The form sends four things: your name, your email address, a line about your playing experience, and one sentence naming the change you want to prove in thirty days. It arrives as an email at info@suedeai.ai and it is read by a person. There is no automated sequence, no drip campaign, and no card requested at any point. You receive a personal response about your goal and the next step.

How can I use this alongside a teacher?

Use GuitarHub to structure practice between lessons. Bring your teacher a baseline recording, a recent attempt, and a specific question. Their feedback gives you a focused correction to practice during the week.
